Job Summary

Assist the Customer Service Manager with daily operations to include bank teller functions and/or new accounts assistance.

Essential Job Functions

Perform teller functions such as deposit and withdrawal transactions, process outgoing wires, stop payments, uncollected funds holds, telephone transfers, daily cash balancing, etc.;

Call back other tellers’ work such as holds, stop payments, cashier’s checks, expense checks, customer deposit and withdrawal transactions, etc.;

Order branch cash and prepare outgoing cash shipments; maintain branch’s overall cash limits; Request approval for any over limit conditions;

Prepare large cash reports, when required;

Process mail and/or night drop deposits;

Prepare month end reports such as new account activities, incoming/outgoing wire transactions, CTR, GL activities, etc.;

Answer and field phone calls and provide assistance as requested;

May review daily branch reports to include kite suspect, NSF/OD, non-post, uncollected funds, stop payments, etc.;

Maintain central reports such as large cash, CTR, legal logs, etc.;

Cross train in New Accounts to provide backup support, as needed;

Review and approve remote/mobile deposit capture transactions, if necessary;

Review and approve End of Day recap for branch capture transactions;

Prepare monthly reports such as deposit performance, GL suspense, loss reports, teller transaction volumes, etc.;

Review and approve dormant accounts processing, including correspondence to customers and certifications

Must have knowledge of regulatory compliance with thorough understanding of all aspects of BSA, AML, USA Patriot Act and CIP.


High School Diploma or equivalent;

Fluency in Vietnamese and/or Cantonese, essential
