Bank Teller / Customer Service Representative

Perform duties relating to the handling of customer cash transactions and various clerical responsibilities, including record keeping of money and negotiable instruments related to handling of customer transactions and various clerical duties. Keeps record of money and negotiable instruments involved in consumer banking.
Essential Job Functions
Assist customers with banking transactions including, but not limited to, taking deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cashing checks, purchasing cashier’s checks and other related transactions;
Prepare necessary forms and reports related to the customer transactions, including but not limited to, CTR, OFAC, hold notices, cashier’s check log, etc.;
Buy and sell money to and from the vault and/or other tellers, as necessary;
Perform daily balancing of cash drawer;
Handle requests for safe deposit box access;
Operate a variety of office-related equipment, such as tellerterminals, calculators, copiers, encoders, postage machines, typewriters, etc.;
Assume general responsibility for adhering to operating,security, personnel policies and procedures and subsequent execution thereof;
Knowledge of regulatory compliance with thorough understandingof all aspects of BSA, including but not limited to, AML, USA Patriot Act andCIP;
Other duties as assigned.
Secondary Job Functions
Assist in verifying incoming and outgoing cash and preparingcash for shipment;
Cross-sell banking products and services as appropriate;
Receive and process loan payments from customers, in accordance with established procedures;
Answer phone calls and attend to client inquiries over thephone.
2 years of customer service experience within a bankingenvironment, required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Location: Shoreline, WA
Compensation: $11.06 -$17.60 per hour DOE (non-exempt)
